Fish Wrangler on Steam

Status: Out now on Steam!

It plays on a Windows PC or a Mac - not on a phone or a tablet. It is free.
Same account, same fish. Everything you catch on Steam is on your phone and the web too, and the other way around.

How to play on Steam

1. On a Windows PC or a Mac, install Steam from store.steampowered.com and sign in (or make a free Steam account).
2. Add Fish Wrangler from its Steam store page - it is free - and press Play.
3. Sign in with your Fish Wrangler account, the same way you do here: email and password, Google, Facebook or Apple.

That's it. Fish Wrangler asks Steam who you are on its own and ties that Steam account to your wrangler - there is no code to type. The Steamy badge on your profile is how you know it worked. One Fish Wrangler account per Steam account gets the Steam-only fish.

Steam exclusives

Steam Punk
Steam exclusive until Dec 22, 2026 - then it bites everywhere. It never counts toward your collection %.

The desk card: Fish Wrangler in the corner of your screen

Install the Steam app and Fish Wrangler can shrink to a little always-on-top card you leave open while you work, browse or watch something. It counts down to your next cast, rings when the line is ready and has a big Fish NOW button - one click and the catch shows up right on the card, fish picture and all.

It also keeps an eye on your pole level, free Red Love, the tournament, night fishing, your gold and treasure chests. Press - for the mini card - just the clock and Fish NOW:

The Steamy badge on your profile - a smug old kettle that lets everyone know you fish on Steam. Shows up once you sign in from the Steam app.

On your profile:

Steam Room charm - free, yours the first time you play in the Steam app.

Brass Snob charm - Steam-only, 700 RLC.

Wind Down charm - Steam-only, 700 RLC.

Top Gear charm - Steam-only, 700 RLC.

Launch giveaways

The launch prizes have been drawn - thanks to every wrangler who fished from the Steam app in its first two weeks.

If you like the game, an honest Steam review helps a small game more than you would think. Reviews are never part of any drawing - good, bad or none at all, it is the same chance. Steam's rules and ours.
